House numbers in Fordon

We know that Morris David Rosenbaum was born in Fordon, Poland. Even though the records of Birth, Marriage and Death from Fordon don't cover his birth, his own writings give us that information. However, from those records, we do obtain the house numbers of some of his family members.

Morris Oser - Nephew of Morris David Rosenbaum

In 1953, upon the 75th anniversary of the establishment of M. Oser and Co., the company published a news letter, called Chico and Vicinity 75 years ago. In this publication, the life of Morris Oser is discussed. In many ways, his life was similar to that of his uncle Morris David Rosenbaum. They both came from Fordon, spent time in New York before leaving for San Francisco. Upon arriving in San Francisco they both established themselves as successful buisness men. In 1884 he married Rose Lincoln.
